Neil Bui
Game Design & Computer Programming · ACCESS CTE
Neil Bui is a CTE teacher specializing in video production, digital media, and technology education. He is passionate about helping students develop creative, technical, and collaborative skills while preparing them for future careers in media, communications, and the digital arts.
Neil earned a BS in Computer Information Systems with a minor in English from Chapman University, and later completed his MBA at the University of Southern California, where he also earned a certificate in the Business of Entertainment.
Before teaching full-time, Neil served as Head of Esports at Westcliff University, where he built and led the university's esports program and connected students with opportunities in gaming, media, and technology. He also founded Dorkaholics, an entertainment journalism publication celebrating diverse voices in film, television, gaming, and pop culture — through which he has interviewed filmmakers, actors, and game developers from around the world.
In the classroom, Neil emphasizes project-based learning, creativity, teamwork, and real-world problem-solving. His goal is to inspire students to discover their passions, build confidence in their abilities, and recognize that the skills they develop today can open doors to countless opportunities in the future.
